Free ship at VA?

I know we used to get a free ship when we hit VA but I thought they removed that on F2P. I am hearing conflicting reports on weather or not we get a free one now. someone said it was tied to the 800 day veteran but I'm not seeing that on the rewards page. I'm currently a 900 day vet. Will I get a free VA ship at 50? I'm wanting to take advantage of this ship sale if possible so if I'm not going to get a free one I want to go ahead and buy it now.

I know it's one of the later vet rewards that you do, in fact, get a free ship at VA.

Ah, here it is, on the rewards page. As a 600 day vet, you are entitled to a VA ship token.

You have to unlock the ship in the store; the free token means you don't have to accumulate a double buttload of refined dilithium to purchase it for the character using it.

You still have to purchase the Armitage from the store. The free VA ship token that you receive as a 600 day vet reward can only be used for the VA refit ships (which were essentially the very first set of VA ships released). There is one for each division - Defiant Refit with cloak designed for tactical, Galaxy Refit with saucer seperation designed for engineers, or Intrepid Refit with ablative shielding designed for science. You can pick any one of these three regardless of your characters division; but to get any other VA ship beyond that is gonna cost you.

The Akira is defiantly worth the price if your a lover of the ship and want an escort that can soak up some damage with a hanger to help out.

However if Tac and your looking for the highest possible output of damage, the Defiant Retrofit is still the way to go. I plan on still using it as my main PvP more then likely, if your into that.

I was planning on getting the Armatige either way. I just didn't want to lay down money If I didn't have to.

Which Klingon ships can we use the token on? I particularly am wondering about the B'rel
