I just wanted to let you guys know how much I appreciate all you.

I posted on the STO forums venting about how its crap I have to buy 4 modules instead of 1 to upgrade my Defiant I own, because the game gave it to me and didn't force me to buy it in the past. Clearly a post of my feelings on the matter, wanting to know if other people felt the same. Of course, the STO forums being what they are, everyone there wants to tell you how your wrong for feeling the way you do to gain some form of self-empowerment I guess.

It's nice having a home in this game where the people don't do that. It's nice being able to post how you feel about the game and not have people treat you like your stupid for how you feel about something.

So, to vent. Yea I know the game gave me the ship, and I didn't purchase it. $20 to upgrade an already T5 ship, that I own, seriously? All because I didn't have to buy it before. I know it's my option to pay or not. I just think its crappy they don't count me owning it. I would gladly pay for it hitting VA, I love the ship. Then I would gladly pay the extra $5 to upgrade. But I didn't have to pay at VA, because I was here before F2P paying Mr. Cryptic $15 a month for the ship. So honestly, I did buy it.

Anyway, thx guys for keeping this fleet alive to give me a place to bitch in peace without being told my feelings and opinions are flat out wrong.

That's my whole thing Huck! I have a question/problem and I get either some help or an explanation on why something isn't right. There's some smart people on here and I feel like this is the best damn tech support you can get outside of Cryptic.

Since joining, I've been given tips on ship loadouts, strategies, and even created my own identity within the fleet. I feel at home on STO with you guys! Whenever I'm able to catch an event, that is!

Yea, your right. I use to go to the STO forums a good bit but ever since F2P hit, well it's just pointless on the forums. The PvP forums are still decent to go to for actually help and people who don't read into, or criticize u for something you say they don't agree with.

But I thought after a few months I'd post and i run into trolls. Needless to say I won't go there again.

Yeah, it creates a better experience when people act mature and not like idiot trolls. I had to quit playing some games before I started pulling off stuff I've seen in "Live Free of Die Hard".
