Gentleman, as the title suggests I will be officially retiring from the Battle E, quarterly Wargames. I planned on doing this before the last one, but at the urges of FCAPT Augerson and FADM Fortin I maintained my "active" status. However I feel it's time to pull myself from the games.
When I joined the fleet I was already fond of PvP and my goals were to earn the Flying Cross and be the first member to earn the Final Battle E. After missing my first wargames I was able to quickly earn it 4 wargames in a row and earned my Flying Cross by the sheer amount of damage I've squeezed out of my Defiant. After receiving the Final Battle E I retired the U.S.S. North Carolina in honor of that and pursued making other ships deadly. My last goal was to be successful with my Klingon character in a wargame. I have completed these goals and have earned the respect of all for my ability to pilot any ship I decide to hop into.
I will continue to PvP with anyone in the fleet that wants to throw down. So don't think I'm quitting PvP completely. I would like for everyone to go in the wargames thinking their team has a shot and avoid the current mentality that "I'll win if I'm on Huckabee's team." It's flattering, but after all it's about your team as a whole. I feel removing myself from the equation will allow the wargames to be a more entertaining event and open the odds for more people to shine.

Then I count it a pleasure to have had the chance to do battle with thee in the last games good sir.
Now, see how much dilithium I can smuggle out of the new mine without getting caught...

Sir,
Will you still be available to help train us or break in a new ship, on occasion. I learn something new about my ship (or me) every time I get blown up. ;)
