Event: 7th ITS Bloodbath Night - KDF vs FED (18 October)

The 7th Imperial Tactical Squadron has challenged the Federation 7th Fleet to a massive showdown, to get payback for repeated confiscation and tampering with the KDF Fleet's Bloodwine reserves.

The Admiralty of the 7th Fleet has accepted the challenge.

A fleet action will ensue on the night of October 18, 2413.

Intelligence indicates the roster of KDF captains as follows:

Several Ferengi agents were captured and forced to endure weeks in an Agony Booth [at the same time. together. ugh] to get us this vital information. They were eventually released and returned to our territory in order to issue us this challenge, but, they'll likely never be the same. They have been remanded to the Daystrom Institute for advanced psychotherapy treatment.

Be on the alert, the enemy is out there, prowling... and waiting for their revenge. Who will be there to defend the 7th's honor? And, will the 7th I.T.S. actually show up? Let the following sub-space forum thread trash talking between the Fleets begin!

Como Kor,

   Using some of my contacts in Klingon Intelligence, I was able to get a few well-trained Orion male operatives aboard the 7th Fleet Starbase as civilian support staff.  Between the bar and off-duty rooms, my men where able to come up with some interesting intelligence that may be of some interest.  With both sides gearing up for battle, we will need every advantage we can get.  They have more ships, better equipment, larger pools of populations to draw warriors from, and much higher level of economic support.  Except for disciple, their crews are better trained and much more capable of multitasking.   Of real interest to me is this new ship the 7th Fleet has acquired:

Avenger Battle Cruiser

  My operatives where also able to obtain a copy of the 7th Fleet's Officer Training Guide.  This guide is what their Captains use as the basis for training their crews.  It will also give us some insight how their will operate as a group.  I high recommend this be passed along to other Captains in our Squadron.  I have already forwarded a copy to Klingon Intelligence; one blade sharpens the other.

  Interesting, indeed.  However, if it works for them, then by all means.  As Kahlass once wrote:  knowledge is power, and knowing is half the battle.

Change of Ships

Due to severe damage and causalities caused by the Crystalline Entity, the Kwisataz Haderach will be in space dock for several weeks.  Able-bodied crew members have been transferred to the Shai'Hulud (Vo'Quv Carrier).  Warp Core and all other systems are currently being brought on-line and will be battle ready in several hours.
