Is this game dead now?

I see arena commander has released. Does this mean that 7th fleet is basically deadspace as far as STO goes? haven't seen many online lately.

Haha..no sir.  That new game has very little to do with it.  It is because it it summer.  This happens every year.  From the end of May to the start of June, school is getting out and families go on summer vacation.  This is nothing out of the ordinary.

Yeah I've been on pretty late at night when I have a chance. My sister lives with me and has a new son so I'm busy being the uncle/father figure. I'm going to try and get him into Star Trek when he gets older myself. But when I'm on, I'm just busy with Season 9 and resource gathering.

No other game will ever make this fleet go dead. For the simple fact the core members love Star Trek itself.

Besides it being summer, members always explore and play other games.  Shack lead a SWTOR group on it's release and the fleet was void of activity besides all 5-6 of us that held down the fort, kept the light on, whatever phrase you want to use.

So as they said, all is normal.
