Specialization tips?

I manage to get on at least 10-30 mins every day, with days off being more.  However, since Season 9 it seems like it's a slow process for me to get points to specialize.  I managed to get all Pilot unlocked, Tier 2 before they increased it.  Finally got another point since the release of Season 10 and started into Intelligence since it has some awesome boost.

For those that have others unlocked to Tier 4, any tips on how to speed the process along?  Certain missions to run or any advice welcome.  Surely I'm not the only one that this is taking forever to access.  I realize they probably meant for it to be that way, but I'd like to pick up the pace if it's possible for my play time.

its a slow grind now...before they gave the delta quadrant patrols a 30 minute cd, that was how most of us were doing it. It was still a grind, but you could find a patrol you liked and a few friends and it wasn't too bad...I have no idea if there's a good method anymore.
