We will be limiting access to the fleet bank for withdrawals of energy credits to 150,000 per day for Captain level. Limitations for lower ranks may be reduced as well. Comments, questions, or concerns please PM me.

I would agree. I have made a few large withdrawals for some ship upgrades. I have been out due to some RL commitments and was trying to get the Massachusetts back to fighting strength.

Thank you Mr. Stryker, we were a bit concerned.
If TF-79 or myself can do anything to assist you in getting up to speed, definitely let us know; we would be happy to escort you through any number of missions, dailies, or anything else. Also keep an eye out for incoming gear in the Fleet bank, we have been running elite level space combat lately and averaging about 1 blue drop per engagement, most of which end up in the Fleet bank. As of late we have probably dumped about 8 or so fairly nice items in there. In addition, much of the crafted items are also fairly good quality and should be good enough to enable you to fly endgame level missions with confidence. Check the TF-73 forums for information on what is available via crafting (http://www.fleet7.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=5305555&gid=84053) and to place orders.
If you are buying things off the exchange, it can be prohibitively expensive. We are anticipating the addition of Fleet owned Starbases in game, and have a feeling they may be expensive to set up and maintain. We are trying to save as much as we can.

Thank you! I am going to look over the forum and place orders then. I am hoping to attend some fleet actions as well. I still have not completed Big Dig even though I am a Rear Admiral Upper in the game. I will be on Vent more often as well since things have slowed down a bit. As in the past you will see the crew of the Massachusetts contribute to the Fleet bank as well. Do not punish all for my brief selfishness. I am willing to accept any disiplinary action I may have incurred.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. If you felt like you needed it, then you needed it, and most everyone I think will be ok with that. We were concerned because we hadn't heard anything from you, and it was a fairly significant sum. As you yourself said, it's been awhile since you've been around regularly, and when you take that much time away and come back, and then take that much out without talking to anyone, it sort of raises a red flag. Half of my concern was that you might have been compromised or something.
As far as punishing everyone else, most folks who play regularly really don't need to withdrawal large sums of cash anyway. Last time I checked the Fleet bank, we had 16.5 million - and I wouldn't be surprised if we have individual players who have that much in their personal accounts.
In any case, welcome back! We're glad to see you come back around; definitely do take a look at the Memory Alpha database, and if anyone can help you with anything I am sure we will do what we can

I concur with Capt Shackleford. The action taken was mostly in light of a possible account compromise and the need to address that issue going forward. Any fleet member with a need for more funds than can be taken out at their level can request it at any time through me. I'm glad to hear you will be able to attend more functions and fleet actions!

I think this is a good policy change.
