Looks like you can now launch shuttlecraft from your ship. There is an NPC in the transporter room that will let you change your active vessel to any of your shuttlecraft - and, conversely, you can now go to an interior/bridge on your shuttlecraft and switch back to the ship you embarked from.

No shuttle bay on the interiors yet, but still, very cool.

On the Klingon side, when you beam to Qosnos, you can beam immediately to the Shipyard or enter the city.

Not bad, since the city is still a bit confusing.
