First, a special thanks to Captain Hanson for his outstanding recruiting efforts over the last several weeks.
Second, welcome aboard to all of our newest recruits!
Above is a listing of all of our newest members, and I am asking everyone in this fleet for some help in getting these new folks feeling they've just come home. I need anyone with a Fleet rank of Captain or above to help make sure our recruits get in game invites; so when you are in game, please keep an eye out for them.
If you are one of the new recruits, you can help as well! Please check your private messages if you have not already; it is the little yellow envelope in the upper right hand corner of the website. You should have rec'd a message with our Ventrilo information, and the easiest way to get an in game invite is to hop into our Vent, introduce yourself, and ask if anyone is on who can assist you. Don't be shy, I know it can be intimidating at first, but the Fleet is full of friendly, helpful folks who can help get you going.
Furthermore, in case you haven't had a chance to look at it, we do have an Ensigns packet that you can take a few minutes to review:
http://www.fleet7.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=6808535&start=0&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=&gid=84053
This should cover basic information about the Fleet and some of our practices.
Finally, keep an eye out for our events!
We run two major Fleet Events every month (usually on a weekend), and information regarding them is generally posted a week in advance on the front page of the site. We also run the following recurring weekly events:
Tuesdays: Heritage Fleet Night: On Tuesday Nights, several of our members get together and run missions using Original Series ships and weapons (Miranda Class, Excelsior Class, Constitution and Constitution Refit Class, Oberth Class).
Wednesdays: Foundry Night: On this night members get in groups and run missions from the Foundry.
Thursdays: Kick a Tribble: A night dedicated to working on any of our Klingon Faction characters.
Even if you don't plan on participating in any of these particular events, it's a great time to log into game and ventrilo and get to know people. Events generally run from 7PM EST to 9PM EST, and that's the best time to try and catch people in Vent or in game.
I would also like to direct all of you to Lt. Commander Jason, he is currently our Fleet Training Officer, and can be especially helpful in answering any questions you might have about the Fleet, or the game in general, and when he is online, he will be more than happy to help you form groups and run missions.
If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to ask; my door is always open. Feel free to send me a private message on the forums (to sparrow794) or find me in game or in vent.

Welcome everyone!
You've selected, by far, the best fleet in Star Trek Online to be a part of. As the Chief of Staff said, I am the Fleet Training Officer. I have sent most of your private messages already, but just in case, here is my info again.
My in game handle is @armyflyboy. Feel free to friend me and message me in game. Once you get up on fleet chat and vent I'd be glad to assist you in any way possible in getting you up and running on the right foot in the fleet and in game. From running missions together, to crafting items, uniform setup, vent setup, ect we are all here to help. That's what this fleet is for! So don't hesitate to seek me or anyone else out in game or here or vent with any questions you might have.
Welcome home!

I would like to thank all of my new fleet brethren for the welcome i have received from the 7th. I can honestly say in all of my years of playing MMO's I have yet to find a more dedicated friendly helpful group of players. I think it is an honor to call the 7th Fleet my STO home.
