- Fleet Elite Friday, every other week (Shackelford)

5. First open friday night after an admin cycle: In-game promotion ceremony for members who have rec'd fleet promotions.

6. Congratulations to Captain JT Kerry, he is now officially the 'Fleet Historian.' As such, he moderates the Fleet Technical Library section of the forums. This is a Duty Officer position and comes with a promotion to Fleet Captain.

As the "Fleet Historian" I'm curious if you will be the person in charge of researching and chronicaling the history of the "Lucky 7th" Fleet?

Thanks! And in answer to your statement, yes. I think we should create a timeline, chronicalling the adventures of the Lucky 7th Fleet, and linking the real life 7th Fleet to us. I think the Library has space for one more Subforum - Fleet Historical Documentation. And, I would promote the posting of "Ship Histories" in the Fleet as a Forum RP (I'll check with Mr. Shackelford on this).
My own ship name predates the formation of the 7th Fleet, as being part of the Pacific Fleet during WWII. Many other of our ships have historical names. It would be fun to see how many could actually be historical ships of the 7th Fleet.
