The 7th Fleet is currently seeking to fill the slot of "7th Fleet Recruiting Officer". This is a DUTY OFFICER position.

The duties include, but are not limited to the following;

- Posting weekly on the STO forums, under the "Starbase One" section
- Responding to inquiries from potential recruits on both the STO and 7th Fleet web sites
- Being active in STO
- Attending Fleet Events
- Creating Fleet Social Events pertaining to new members
- Attending monthly Staff meetings
- Being active in Vent

Any officer wishing to apply for this position should contact the Chief Of Staff (Rear Admiral p'Rett). If you have questions about the duties of the Fleet Recruiting Officer, you may send questions to the 7th Fleet Ambassador, Commodore Christian Hanson.

How long will you be considering applicants? In other words, is there a minimum amount of time the opportunity will remain open prior to a decision being made?

I added a closing date for applicants. The date is Friday, November the 4th. I'd like to make a decision that weekend. If we determine that the right applicant is not in the pile, then I leave it upto Admiral p'Rett on how he would like to proceed.
