Sirs, having watched the original TOS on prime time as a child, this will give you indication of my age. However, when you get a little older, your brain just isn't as fast as it used to be, i.e., hard-drive is almost full, it's running slow, and de-frag just doesn't work anymore. The following is submitted for your amusement:

Problem: Managing multiple Captains and their bridge crews. Once I figured out that I could re-train my Boffs to be more efficient, so began the process of "re-tooling" my Boffs. Also, who to bring on ground missions was now important as I learned more about STO. However, at least in my case, I just couldn't remember who was who amongst my bridge. All their names were pulled from Sci-fi stories and such, so I had to look at their details before utilizing them. As my sons would say, "first world problem."

Solution: I renamed all of them to reflect their career paths. For instance:

Tactical Officers: Names that start with "T"
Engineering Officers: Names that start with "E"
Science Officers: Names that start with "S"
Ground Officers: Names that start with "G" (can be any career, but ground focus)

Also, I enhanced the above with a trip to the tailor ship and putting the appropriate colors on their uniforms, especially the KDF side.
